Career Highlights

  • Led business transformation and rapid growth of a $90M, 1,500-employee public company, and built a world-class China-US R&D and lean manufacturing environment through improved organizational models, accountability and performance.
  • Partnered with the leadership team to define staffing demands for startup for sales and field training operations in a highly complex, challenging environment, resulting in the start-up of Google China.
  • Led strategic change management initiatives to accelerate geographic expansion and acquisitions. Worked through due diligence, acquisition and on-boarding for 5 global acquisitions for a $1B global equipment company.
  • Improved 401(k) plan administration for $251M in assets and delivered ~$1M in annual fixed benefit costs for a $5B, 5500 employee joint venture between 2 global automotive companies.
  • Recruited as highest-ranking American to meld Japanese and American business practices, and designed human capital strategies for growth from $800M to $2B in revenue over 3 years and from 800 to 2,300 employees with 93% retention.
